I read an excellent book over the break called "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Morteson which is about an american mountaneer (and International School student - Moshi Int'l School in Tanzania) who hs set up schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan (especially for girls) to help improve local health standards, local economies and fight extreamism.
